Marine fauna very diverse with 1100 known species, and an estimated     
total of 1500 species, but very few endemic species.                    
Marine animals of special conservation interest include:                
 Black coral, stony corals;                                             
 Triton shells, Trochus shells, pearl oysters;                          
 Lobster, eels, bait fish, parrot fish, puffer fish, bigeye scad;       
 Skates and rays, turtles, dolphins, whales.
