French Baha'i Summer School, Angers
The French Baha'i Summer School was held on 11-18 July in La Pommeraye near
Angers in the west of France. The summer school theme of "M'assister, c'est
enseigner ma cause" (To help Me, teach my cause) was combined with intensive
sessions for almost all the Ruhi books from the training institute. The 400
participants included many families, about 50 junior youth, and an amazing
40 from Suisse Romande (French-speaking Switzerland). I was able to complete
Ruhi book 8.3 on the Universal House of Justice as the present center of the
Covenant.

Sometimes we formed smaller groups and met in the gardens;
spontaneous singing by the junior youth during a pause in the programme

One group presented the results of their study as a very long artwork

On the final evening, the little children performed and the junior
youth sang

The music and singing were of very high quality

We nearly filled the large auditorium
We made new friends and renewed old friendships, and left the school at the
end of the week with new skills and understanding.
