Pontedera, Italy
After three visits last year (see separate
page), I visited the Stendardo family at their second home in
Pontedera, Tuscany, near Pisa, in Italy, in late June and early July.
As usual I helped in the house and garden, restoring 33 garden lights,
preparing some places for Vida to plant flowers, cleaning out a garden
storage area, and preparing junk to be hauled away. Life is not easy for
them with two adult autistic children, so I help whenever I can.
