The Swiss Bahá'í Winter School was held in the beautiful Alpine village of Leysin, behind Aigle in the Canton of Valais, on 26-31 December 2019, with 330 participants, including from Austria, England, France, Germany, Italy, Kuwait, Netherlands and Portugal. There were 60 whose main language was Farsi, and 25 junior youth, as well as many children. Switzerland is already a multi-lingual country, so there was great diversity and multiple translations so that everyone could participate. Many studied books in the Ruhi series, while the main course on "Weaving Together Worship and Service" was led by Mrs. Uransaikhan Baatar-Granfar, a former member of the International Teaching Centre originally from Mongolia and now living in Geneva. There was also an afternoon workshop on Huququ'llah studying Ruhi book 11.1 on "Giving: The Spiritual Basis of Prosperity", as well as music and arts workshops. The evening programme included games for all ages, music, plays and other artistic performances in a wonderful spirit of fellowship.
