Since the private sector is an essential partner in efforts to implement more sustainable development, I have increasingly tried to bridge the gaps between environment and economics, government and business. This has included lectures to business groups and at institutions such as the London School of Economics, my book "The Eco Principle: Ecology and Economics in Symbiosis", participation in activities of AIESEC (the association of students of business and commerce), serving on the board of the European Bahá'í Business Forum, and consultancies with the World Economic Forum.
