When we returned to France in 1985, first the children went to stay with their grandparents in Plomodiern, Finistére, Brittany. Then Martine joined them. When Arthur arrived at the end of the year, we rented a house for the winter season in the seaside village of Pentrez-plage nearby, nearly deserted at that time of year. Most of our life was at the Caillards.
