On 28 February-2 March 2020, I went to Madrid for the first meeting of the Advisory Group for our new Global Governance Forum (https://globalgovernanceforum.org). With Augusto Lopez-Claros and Maja Groff, we launched the GGF as the vehicle to publicize and take further the ideas and proposals in our new book Global Governance and the Emergence of Global Institutions for the 21st Century (Cambridge University Press, 2020). In addition to the Advisory Group meeting in Madrid, we traveled on Sunday to Segovia, well known for its Roman aqueduct, for a traditional lunch of roast suckling pig in a famous restaurant just below the aqueduct.
