Quebec family visit
After the ABS/IEF conference in Toronto, I spent two weeks in St. Romuald,
Lévis, Quebec, with my son Alex, daugher-in-law Mahalia Gagnon, and
grandchildren Benjamin, Alia, and recently arrived Nalah, as well as
step-grandson Jérémie. It was good to have time with all the family. We went
for four days to the Quebec Baha'i Summer School (see separate
page).

Alex is an all-round father, as well as an information systems
architect

There is a natural area, forest and river a short walk from Alex's house, so
I walked down with the kids to spend some time on the beach, where we were
joined by Rachel Luce and her friend José.

One evening we bought ice cream cones at a famous shop in Lévis and ate them
in a park overlooking the river and the city of Quebec.

Another day we did the same thing in the afternoon to enjoy the beautiful
view of Quebec city across the river.

The last day we visited the Parc du Bois-de-Coulonge in Québec, around what
used to be the lieutenant governor's residence, with views of the river from
the heights of Québec.
